⇒ Preschool PK1 program – We accept children ages 3-4 years old. Children must be 3 years old on or before September 1st and must be fully potty-trained. Our enrollment may be fluid. If you wish to submit an application, your child will be placed on our WAITLIST. All 2025-2026 applicants will remain on our WAITLIST for the entire 2025-2026 school year. We will refer to this list if an opening comes available throughout the 2025-2026 school year. If you have a special circumstance you wish to discuss, please reach out to Mrs. Gorney at dgorney@sta-sd.org.

2025-2026 Preschool-8th Grade New Applicant Admission Process

Complete an APPLICATION FOR ADMISSION for each child. There is a $30.00 application fee per child. Applications do not carry over from year to year. A 2025-2026 application is required for your child to be considered for 2025-2026 admission to STA.

Once an application has been submitted, no additional action is required at this time. In late February 2025, STA will begin contacting new student applicants regarding the next steps in our admission process. At that time, we will request recent report cards and standardized test scores for students applying to grades 1-8.

Age requirements for admission:

Kindergarten: must be five (5) years old on or before September 1, 2025.

PK1: must be three (3) years old on or before September 1, 2025, and must be fully potty-trained.

PK2: must be four (4) years old on or before September 1, 2025, and must be fully potty-trained.

SCHOOL TOURS:

K-8: Mrs. Gorney is available to conduct a K-8 school tour and/or answer questions via email/telephone. A tour takes approximately one hour. Tour times are either from 8:45-9:45 a.m. or from 1:15-2:15 p.m. If you wish to schedule a tour, please send Mrs. Gorney an email, and share 2-3 possible dates/times. She will try to accommodate your schedule.

Preschool: Mrs. Conley (sconley@sta-sd.org) is available to conduct a preschool tour and/or answer preschool questions via email. If you wish to tour preschool-8th programs, please contact Mrs. Gorney and she will schedule a PK-8 tour.

Our preschool accepts children ages 3-5 years old. Children must be three years old on or before September 1st and must be fully potty-trained (no diapers / no pull-ups / independent restroom hygiene).

Our PK1 program is for children ages 3-4, and our PK2 program is for children ages 4-5.

Current STA Family Re-Registration for the 2025-2026 School Year
2025-2026 re-registration for our current STA families will take place Jan. 27-Feb.9, 2025. Parents will receive an email with the steps to complete re-registration. Please contact Mrs. Gorney if you have questions.
