Let’s celebrate Dr. Seuss’s birthday with READ ACROSS AMERICA WEEK!

Monday 2/27: Oh, the Places You’ll Go! Read Across America week begins with a celebration of our futures by dressing up as what we want to be when we grow up (doctor, firefighter, scientist, sports player, chef, etc.). Make sure outfits are school appropriate.
Tuesday 2/28: One Fish Two Fish Red Fish Blue Fish. Pick a side: Wear a solid or striped red, blue, or white shirt with your P.E. shorts.
Don’t forget to attend the Barnes & Noble, Panera Bread, and Panda Express fundraiser in Grossmont Center from 4:00-8:00pm! Restaurant fundraiser purchases extend until 9:00 p.m.
Wednesday 3/1: Let your inner Cat in the Hat out by wearing your favorite hat to school with your Dress-Up Day Uniform!
Thursday 3/2: Read Across America Day! Students will participate in a school wide Read-a-Thon in the Social Center. Students are invited to bring a pillow, a stuffed animal, and a favorite book. Let’s Read!
Friday 3/3: Students are encouraged to wear bright, mix matched, or silly socks to add some flair to their dress-up day uniform just like Fox in Socks.
