Join us for the St. Therese Academy TRUNK or TREAT
Trunk Or Treat: 6:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.
For families who wish to participate but don’t want to decorate a vehicle, please arrive between 6:30pm-8:30pm and park at the Social Center and simply enjoy the fun! Halloween costumes are encouraged! We will have a DJ and food trucks on site. Our 8th grade will be hosting a bake sale.
Trunk Set Up: 4:30 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Families who wish to decorate should arrive between 4:30-5:30 pm. If you want to display next to a friend, please arrive together as you enter the church parking lot on College or Camino Rico – look for our 8th grade crew to direct you to a spot. DO NOT ENTER ON NAVAJO ROAD. Park as close together as possible to allow for maximum participants. Decorate your trunk in whatever theme you choose. School and church parking lots will close to moving vehicle traffic at 6pm SHARP. You provide the treats and be ready to welcome trick-or-treaters at your vehicle between 6:30-8:30pm. Estimate 1000 pieces of candy.
Trunk or Treat FAQs
What is a “Trunk or Treat”? It’s a free, fun way to allow children to Trick or Treat in a safe environment with the STA community.
If I am decorating my vehicle, what time do I arrive to set up? Please arrive between 4:30 and 5:30pm. For the safety of the children and limited lighting, gates close to vehicles promptly at 6 and will not open (even to exit) until 8:30pm. Trunk or Treating is from 6:30pm to 8:30pm.
Will there be lights? Not really. Feel free to load up on Glow sticks and necklaces and bring your camping lanterns.
Can we display next to our friends in the parking lot? Yes! We cannot guarantee you will be next to your friends, but we encourage you to arrive and pull into the lot together if you want to display together.
How many candy/treats/prizes should I plan to hand out? We estimate 1,000 pieces, depending on how many treats or prizes you give out.
I want to attend, but do not want to decorate my trunk. Can I still participate? Yes! Park at the Social Center and walk down the stairs to join the fun!
